This Roomba robot vacuum and mop is 46 percent off right now
The Roomba Y0140 robot vacuum and mop combo unit is on sale for 149 via Amazon. This represents a discount of 46 percent, as it typically costs 250. It's rare we see robots that can vacuum and mop at this price point. The Y0140 is actually a combo version of the vacuum-only Q0120, which topped our list of the best robot vacuums on a budget. We loved the iconic design and the surprisingly-robust suction power.
The latest Ring Video Doorbell is back on sale for a record-low price
You might have spent the last few years turning your domicile into a smart home with a fancy speaker setup, robot vacuum and voice-controlled lights. Another way to make your home more connected is with a video doorbell, and as it happens, a model from Ring is on sale. The latest version of the Ring Video Doorbell has dropped down to 60, which is 40 off. The discount also matches the record-low price. As the name suggests, this is a battery-powered model, so you won't have to worry about wiring it up.

Amazon's Echo Spot smart alarm clock is at a record-low price for October Prime Day
October Prime Day deals are proving to be just as good as those we saw in July, at least for some of Amazon's own devices. The recently revamped Echo Spot is back on sale for a record low of 45, a discount that we last saw during the summertime sale event. The original Echo Spot came out in 2017, but it only lasted two years before it was discontinued. Amazon brought back a redesigned version of the Alexa speaker earlier this year. You can also opt for a bundle and get a TP-Link Tapo Smart Color Bulb with it for the same price.

If you've been considering letting a machine take over vacuuming responsibilities in your house, then the Shark AI Ultra Robot Vacuum is on sale for just 300. That's the lowest price we've seen for this gadget; normally you need to shell out up to 420 to add it to your housework routine. The model on sale today is a version of the one we found to be a top all-around performer in our tests of robot vacuums. Save 120 on this mid-range robot vacuum model.
Amazon Prime Day deals are available to shop before October Big Deal Days starts tomorrow
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is back this year, returning on October 8 and 9. The "fall Prime Day" of sorts has served as the online retailer's unofficial kickoff to the holiday shopping season for the past few years. We expect most of the deals to be Prime exclusives, meaning you must be an active Prime subscriber to get the discounts. There are always a couple of deals available for everyone, though, so it's worth perusing Amazon's site even if you don't pay for Prime. It's also worth doing so now because we've found a number of solid early Prime Day deals already available.

The best early Prime Day deals we could find ahead of Amazon's October Big Deal Days event
Since 2022, Amazon has held a second Prime Day of sorts in October and that sale event is coming back this year, too. Prime Big Deal Days returns on October 8 and 9, but we're already starting to see some decent deals pop up across Amazon's site. As per usual, most of the deals we expected to see on October Prime Day will be exclusively for Prime members -- and some of the early Prime Day deals we're seeing now have followed suit. If you don't have a Prime membership, don't fret too much -- there are always a few discounts available for all shoppers. However, if you pay the 139 annual fee for Prime, now's the time to put it to even better use.
